Canterbury Tails BT, was Founded in 2013 by April and Kenneth Canterbury. We have a passion for Boston Terriers, and have dedicated our lives to our babies and adults. Not only are we Boston Terrier Breeders, we are active in Rescue Operations, and have helped in the transport of animals to new their homes and have fostered.
We are passionate animal lovers, and have several rescue cats. Ken has adopted all of his pets from High Kill Shelters. April has been breeding for close to 30 years off and on. She was an avid cat fancier, breeder and specialized in beautiful Himalayan and Exotic long/short haired cats. April also bred, and worked with Siberian Huskies for many years. She is very knowledgeable in breeding and whelping, as well as genetics.
April is a private accountant, was a designer of wedding accessories and dog clothing since 1989 Now recently retired the Sewing to dedicate time to the Dogs, cooking , farming and renovations on our old farmhouse! . Ken is an amazing photographer, who specializes in wedding and pet photography along with his full time job. We make a great team and together vow to breed healthy happy Boston Terrier puppies! We raise our Boston Terrier puppies in Florida and work hard to find them the best loving forever homes. Canterbury Tails BT, is located in between Gainesville and Ocala which is north central Florida. We pride ourselves in our BAER and CERT health testing of every puppy before leaving for their new home! All of our Dogs are genetically tested and do not carry JHC (Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts) We have also testing Degenerative Myelopathy(DM) and Hyperuricosuria (HUU) Clear by parentage
